MITCH is currently accepting applications for employment,  7th & 8th grade classrooms next school year, 2012-2013.

Applicants must be Highly Qualified to teach in a middle school environment.  Highly Qualified is required in all subject areas.  Applicant must have a valid Oregon Teaching License endorsed K-8.

MITCH Charter School has been opened since 2002.   We are a K-8th grade school, 250 children attend.  We have a contract with the Tigard-Tualatin School District to operate using the Core Knowledge sequential curriculum.  Our classroom sizes average around 24.  Applicants need to be qualified to teach middle school all subjects.  We pay 80% of the traditional public school pay rate.  We have a 4 day teaching schedule.  Our hours we teach are 7:45am – 3:15 pm Monday – Thursday.  Friday’s include planning, meetings, professional training, field trips, and events.  We pay for the employees medical package, pay for PERs, professional training as it applies to M.I.T.C.H.
