2^nd Grade

Supply List 2011-2012

Each student should bring the following items labeled with the student’s name:

**Items listed below will remain in your child’s desk; smaller items may be loaded into their pencil bag or pencil box. Thank you!!**

• 1 pencil box or pencil bag (any color or style)
• 12 count package of colored pencils
• 8-10 count package of washable markers
• 24 count package of crayons
• 1 watercolor set
• 1 Yellow Highlighter
• 1 2” White Binder with clear plastic cover (portfolio)
• 1 package of 5 tab, slant pocket dividers for portfolio(labeled Reading, Riggs, Math, CK History, & CK Science)
• 1 Composition Notebook 100 pages with quadrille/graph paper (math dictionary)

Each student should bring the following without being labeled; these will be community supplies:

• 1 container of disinfectant wipes (large size please)
• 1 container of baby wipes
• 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
• 2 reams of copy paper
• 1 box of Kleenex
• 2 packages of Ticonderoga #2 pencils (one pkg. with erasers removed)
• 2 packages of Ticonderoga red pencils (one pkg. with erasers removed)
• 4 glue sticks
• 1 package of low odor dry erase markers
• 1 box of Ziploc quart sized bags
• 1 package of Sharpies (any color or tip)
• 1 box of Ziploc gallon sized bags
• 1 roll of blue tape (easy removable painter’s style tape)

Supplies provided out of Fair Share (these will be distributed in the classroom)

• Riggs notebook
• Ream of Riggs paper
• Homework Folder
• Absent Folder

2^nd Grade Class Wish List: The following items are useful, but not necessary if you would like to donate them to the class thank you!

• Tennis balls (used/new for desks and chairs)
