| Teacher Bio |
I have taught at MITCH Charter School since its inception 10 years ago. We have moved to several locations over the years and now have a permanent home in Tualatin.
I believe that a child learns best using a multi-sensory approach to learning. MITCH has a curriculum that supports multi-sensory learning with enrichment in global studies, inquiry and self management.
I live in Sherwood with my son, two daughters and our wiener dog, Daisy. I spend quite a bit of time working on my yard, reading, photography, home improvements, etc… I love to travel whenever the opportunities arise and watch a light hearted/funny movie. The simple things in life are what I like best of all.
My passion is watching a child understand something they hadn’t before or see them want more of what we are learning. It’s an honor to share in your child’s experiences at school and we learn together. Thank you for your support in your child’s education and I look forward to getting to know my new students this year.
