Dress for the weather; wear closed toed shoes, long pants, MITCH T-shirts.
Oregon Landform Project Information will be coming home next week. We are making a sample dough map in class and learning about relief maps. See their DOGs next week for the outline of this project.
Jet Boat Field Trip Oh, we are so excited about this. Drop off at 11:30, and pick-up around 2:00. This ties in with our study of Oregon Geography and the Willamette River. You will need to drop-off and pick-up at the submarine dock by OMSI. DO NOT MEET AT MITCH! Parents who want to come will need to pay $22 for their ticket. We can take as many adults who are willing to buy a ticket. This tour usually goes for $33 an adult, but they give discounts for school groups. Let me know if you want to come, it will be great fun!
Magness Last year, when we were at Magness your children (who were then 3rd graders) begged me to bring them back. So we are. We will be doing a GPS course (which is a different course than last year) and rock studies. And of course, we’ll see if we have time for a “snake walk.” Very fun!
