Julie Taaffe, 7th Grade Teacher

     My name is Julie Taaffe.  I live in Tualatin with my husband, three children, dog, two cats and a rabbit.  We have lived inTualatin for 20 years. My oldest daughter will be a senior at Tualatin High School this year.  I also have a daughter who will be a freshman and a son in the sixth grade.

     All of our children swim for the Tigard-Tualatin Swim Club and our two girls will swim for Tualatin High School this winter.  Many of our weekends are spent at a pool.

     I have taught middle school 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in the past fulltime. I have also been a substitute teacher in the Tigard-Tualatin School District, teaching grades K-12 but predominantly middle and high school grades.  I have a degree in Microbiology  as well as a degree in Education from Oregon State University.

     I am looking forward to the coming school year and getting a chance to meet all of you.
