I am so excited that our year together is about to begin! I am looking forward to getting to know your children and providing them with an educational foundation that will prepare them for many successful years at MITCH. To best promote learning and growth, I encourage a non-violent, non-media, and healthy instructional environment. Please support my efforts inside and outside of the school. Together we can build a trusting and respectful parent/teacher/student team based, whose central goal is to nurture and support your child's mental, emotional, and physical growth. My main goal is to create curriculum that will best serve your child's educational needs.
Please feel free to come to me with any questions, concerns, or ideas. My door is always open. I check and respond to email daily. MITCH school emails are still being set up. I notify all of you when I know my new email. You're also welcome to phone me at school or at home. I will do my best to reply and as long as the contact is made before to late, you will hear back from me on the same day as you reach out. I cannot go without mentioning the new building - it's amazing! I am grateful to so many of you who have helped to make it so lovely. I had the pleasure of meeting some of you during your volunteer work and I look forward to meeting the rest of you on Back-to-School night, this Wednesday, September 8th. At Back-to-School night, there will be a sign up for beginning of year assessments. It is NOT a test, just a way for me to find out how I can best serve each student. Please come and sign up.
