Thanks for checking in with us.  You will be able to find  will be out parent meeting updates here. In fact here are a few now:

• Facility committee meets at 6pm just prior to the parent's meeting and the fundraising committee meets at 8pm just after the parent's meeting. Facility and fundraising committees will meet each time there is a parent meeting.

• The meeting in March of 2010 is moved to the 5th Tues which is the 30th.

Parent Committee Meeting Agenda

Singing with the Seniors this Friday from 9:15-2:45

Chess Club this Friday at 10am; Running club is over until spring time; No art

club this week

This Saturday night is the Club Sport fundraiser 12/5

Next Thursday the 10th is the school wide Winter Concert. Students to be here

by 6pm, program begins at 6:30pm. Concessions will be sold during

intermission. Concession $ will be used toward monetary gifts for each teacher.

The program format has changed a bit this year and shouldn’t be quite as long

as it has been in the past. Store bought cookies or treats may be donated by

parents to be sold during the intermission.

MITCH Board meeting on Tuesday Dec.15th.

January 14th is the Heritage Faire – be thinking if there is something you and

your child can present to represent your heritage.

Uniform Exchange - Before and after next months Parent Meeting. Bring any

uniform clothes that you no longer need and find sizes that you do need. This

is a free event. Bring clothes to donate and take home clothes that you could

use. It’s ok to bring home more clothes than you brought! Or if you don’t have

any to bring and just need some that is fine too. There are always clothes left

over so please feel comfortable taking anything that you will use.

Box Tops –Teri Cluff We made around $400 on the recent BoxTop drive.

Scrip – Tonia Easterly Place orders by Monday

Movie Matinee - Traci and Janet We made $218 on this fundraiser.

Entertainment Books – We sold 176 books

th is the Murray Hill

Pizzicato fundraiser. Pre-ordered food is an option and could be delivered to you

at carline.

Christmas Tree and Wreath Sales – Debi Lorence We sold 53 wreathes and if

you would like to go to a farm to cut your Christmas tree this year (Doug Fir)

there is a location that will give our school $10 per tree purchased from them.

The trees are about $25 each. Ask Debi Lorence for more details.

Club Sport – Takes place this Saturday from 6-9:30. About 25 kids have signed

up so far.

Teacher Appreciation Lunches – Miranda Beasley

This is going really well! So far the kindergarten class has provided lunch for all

the teachers and the teachers really appreciated it. You will hear from your class

parent when your students’ class will be hosting one of these lunches for the

teachers. What a great gesture to say thank you for all that the teachers do for

our children!

MITCH School Board Updates

The school is continuing to pursue options for a new school location that will be

large enough for a K-8 student body.

People willing to write grant requests are needed so please talk to one of the

board members to find out more information about this.

The school board will have about 3 positions opening up Spring of 2010.
