Family Contributions Matter

At MITCH Charter School, we deeply appreciate the generosity of our community. As a public charter school, we receive approximately $1,700 less per student in funding compared to local district schools. Your contributions play a vital role in closing this financial gap, enabling us to continue offering creative content, experiential learning, and exceptional educational programs for our students.

Annual Family Contribution

We request an Annual Family Contribution of up to $600 per family. This is a tax-deductible gift that goes directly to the operational costs of running the school. Contributions can be made as a one-time donation or through a monthly installment plan. While this amount is voluntary, we ask families to contribute what they can to support our shared goal of providing an exceptional education.

  • Volunteer Option: Families are encouraged to volunteer 20 hours per year. If volunteering isn’t feasible, you may opt out of all or a portion of these hours with a tax-deductible payment of $10 per hour.

  • Employer Matching: Many employers offer matching programs for donations or volunteer time. Please check with your employer to maximize your impact!

Tax-Deductible Donations
​MITCH is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, and your contributions may be tax-deductible. Upon making a donation, you will receive a receipt and email confirmation with our tax ID for your records.

You can designate the area you would like your contribution to go towards. The building, books, the arts, are all categories which you can specify for your donation.

Annual Activity Fee

The Activity Fee covers costs for enriching experiences such as field trips, guest speakers, art, music, PE, and more.

  • Total Fee: $300 per student.

  • Payment Plan:
    • $100 non-refundable deposit (to reserve your child’s spot).
    • $200 balance payable after the school year begins, with flexible payment options.

For families facing financial hardship, assistance is available to ensure that no child misses out on these valuable experiences.

​Please note that activity fees are not donations and therefore are not tax-deductible. These fees directly fund student experiences like field trips, guest speakers, and classroom resources.
