Choosing MITCH Charter School was the best decision we made for our child. The dedicated teachers and unique programs have made such a positive impact. I am so glad that we chose to put our child in MITCH. My son has an IEP and the support he receives is so great. The whole staff is so supporting and it feels like a real community. With the smaller class sizes, I feel that the kids are able to really establish a strong bond with the teachers and their classmates. They have done an amazing job during the pandemic with distance learning. The teachers and staff have been very engaging during this time with keeping the parent informed. I tell everyone how great MITCH is. I love that our students experience smaller class sizes, get art once a week and learn agriculture. I feel that we are tiny but mighty and love our community. We are extremely pleased with our experience at MITCH. Great curriculum, specials weekly, including agriculture, art, music and PE. Consistent communication to parents and great family/ school engagement. Solid Social emotional learning program, and a safe, nurturing environment for kids. So many enrichment opportunities for students throughout the year. Clean, well organized and run campus makes us feel very confident to send our son to MITCH. The small class sizes and individualized support at MITCH helped my child thrive academically and socially. MITCH allows many opportunities for community and family involvement, which is so valuable for parents who want to be a part of their child's education. MITCH maintains small class sizes and has a caring, hardworking staff. The main reason we recommend MITCH to our friends is because of the school’s commitment to equity and inclusion. I also love that the school does not celebrate holidays, but instead celebrates educational achievements, and allows every kid, regardless of home circumstances or beliefs, to be involved and included in celebrations (core knowledge events, music events, community events) etc. I also appreciate the diversity of the school and the way my children are educated on sensitive topics in a way that values equity and inclusion. MITCH has great class sizes, the curriculum is amazing, and my son has been learning SO much! |
