Music

​Music at MITCH is a blend of discovery, theory, and performance. Students learn rhythm, melody, and the basics of music theory while exploring instruments and vocal techniques. Physical Education (PE)

We use The Great Body Shop, a comprehensive health education curriculum that is sequential, developmentally appropriate, culturally sensitive, and medically accurate. This program ensures that students learn about their bodies, health, and wellness in an engaging and age-appropriate way.

Agriculture

The Agriculture Program at MITCH is a cornerstone of our experiential learning approach. Our program has its own curriculum built around Indigenous Seed Rematriation, the return of Indigenous seeds to their original communities. This program incorporates hands-on activities in our school garden, connections to ecological principles, and partnerships with Indigenous communities and local organizations like Adelante Mujeres.
