At MITCH Charter School, we believe in inspiring young minds and cultivating a love for learning in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. Located in Tualatin, Oregon, our tuition-free public charter school serves students from Kindergarten through 5th grade, offering a unique blend of academic rigor, hands-on learning, and a strong sense of community.

With small class sizes, a dedicated teaching staff, and innovative programs like our Core Knowledge Curriculum and Agriculture Program, we empower students to become confident, knowledgeable, and compassionate leaders. What is a Charter School?

A charter school is a tuition-free public school that operates independently from traditional school districts. It’s open to all students, offering families a choice in their child’s education.

Charter schools like MITCH have the flexibility to use innovative teaching methods and specialized programs, while still being held accountable for academic results and state standards. This allows us to focus on personalized learning, smaller class sizes, and unique programs that meet the needs of our students and community.

    With a maximum of 15 students in Kindergarten and 20 in Grades 1–5, we provide personalized attention to support every child’s success.

    Our unique curriculum focuses on Indigenous Seed Rematriation and sustainable farming, teaching students about ecology, culture, and environmental stewardship.
